Hi Tess! The piece called "Gods contemplating the universe"is a mixed media by an artist called Regan DeMaher.
Fella & I came across his work at an exhibition about 10 years ago now, and knew we had to have that one! The background of the table is the artists notes of his work stuck down. 10 years on & I still haven't decided what they are eating: there are definitely some eggs and a salad and maybe some chicken & carrots?!
When we bought it we had the opportunity to discuss the meaning of it with the artist, but decided to keep the mystery & work out our own & just enjoy living with it!
